Richmond is the western terminus of the District line, set in one of London's most attractive riverside towns. Adjacent to Richmond Park - the largest of London's Royal Parks and home to deer - and with views across the Thames from Richmond Hill, it is a popular destination for day trips. The station is shared with London Overground and South Western Railway.
