14th Street–8th Avenue is an A/C/E and L line interchange in Chelsea, the centre of New York's contemporary art gallery district. Over 200 galleries are concentrated within a few blocks, primarily on West 20s and 30s. The station is also the starting point for the High Line elevated park - the most visited new public space in New York in decades.
