About Denfert-Rochereau

Denfert-Rochereau is a Lines 4, 6 and RER B interchange in the south of Paris. The station is most famous as the entrance to the Catacombs of Paris - the vast ossuary containing the bones of approximately 6 million Parisians transferred there in the late 18th century from overflowing city cemeteries. The RER B here gives direct access to both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.
