About Harajuku

Harajuku is one of Tokyo's most famous youth culture and fashion districts, home to Takeshita Street (the epicentre of kawaii and cosplay fashion), the Omotesando boulevard, and the vast forested Meiji Shrine complex. The station building itself, originally built in 1924, is one of the oldest wooden station buildings in Tokyo. The area seamlessly blends pop culture street fashion with sacred Shinto tradition.
