Mehrauli - Delhi's oldest continuously inhabited area and home to the Qutub Minar UNESCO World Heritage Site - does not yet have its own metro station. The closest operational station is Qutab Minar on the Yellow Line, about 1.5 km away. From there, an auto-rickshaw takes around 5-10 minutes to reach the Mehrauli village area and the Qutub Minar complex entrance.
The upcoming Golden Line (DMRC Phase 4) will place a dedicated station in Mehrauli for the first time, making the heritage precinct directly rail-accessible from across Delhi. This will be a significant boost for tourism and for the residents of this ancient neighbourhood.
If you are heading to Qutub Minar UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mehrauli is your closest metro stop on the Golden Line. It also gives easy access to Mehrauli Archaeological Park and Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb. Use the fare calculator to plan your journey cost before you travel.
