About Sector 55–56
Sector 55–56 Metro Station is the southern terminus of the Rapid Metro Gurgaon, serving the premium residential sectors along Golf Course Extension Road. Opened in 2017, it was built to extend the Rapid Metro's reach into newer Gurgaon developments beyond the original Sikanderpur corridor.
The station is elevated and modern, designed to serve the high-density residential towers and commercial complexes that characterise this part of Gurugram. Commuters from sectors 55, 56, and the surrounding Golf Course Extension Road belt board here for a quick, air-conditioned ride to Sikanderpur and the Yellow Line interchange.
