National Museum Metro Station is the cultural heart of the Riyadh Metro network. It gives passengers direct access to the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre - a vast cultural complex that includes the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, the Al Murabba Palace, restored historical buildings, the Riyadh public library, and extensive landscaped public gardens. It is also one of two stations where the Blue Line and Green Line meet, making it a useful interchange point for passengers crossing between the Olaya corridor and the King Abdulaziz Road corridor.
Elevated Zone 1 interchange station serving the Blue Line (Line 1) and Green Line (Line 5). Opened 2024. Positioned in the cultural precinct north of the old city centre, directly adjacent to the National Museum complex.
The Blue Line runs north to KAFD and south to Al Bat'ha and beyond. The Green Line runs along King Abdulaziz Road, connecting this cultural district to the Ministry of Education (Red Line interchange), Ministry of Defence, King Abdulaziz Hospital, and Ministry of Finance to the south and east.
Elevated two-line station with separate Blue and Green Line platforms connected through a shared concourse. Allow 3 to 4 minutes to transfer between lines. An information desk assists visitors navigating to the museum complex and surrounding heritage sites.
