About Blackwall

Blackwall is a DLR Zone 2 station in Poplar, east London, opening onto the former Blackwall Basin -one of the original West India Docks. The area has a history stretching back to the Elizabethan era when Blackwall was a major shipbuilding and launching point for voyages to America. Today the station serves new residential and commercial developments around the dock.
