Elm Park station is a quiet District line stop in the London Borough of Havering, serving the residential suburb of Elm Park near the eastern end of the District line. The station is a local commuter stop with few visitor attractions in the immediate vicinity. The neighbourhood is primarily 1930s suburban housing and serves as a dormitory suburb for commuters heading into central London. Upminster, two stops east, is the District line terminus and has significantly more facilities and connections.
Elm Park station opened in 1935. It sits in Zone 6 and is served by the District line only. The station does not have step-free access. It is between Dagenham East to the west and Hornchurch to the east.
The District line (green) connects west towards Dagenham East, Becontree and central London. Eastbound, the line continues through Hornchurch and Upminster Bridge to Upminster (the terminus). Journey time to Victoria is approximately sixty minutes.

Hornchurch Country Park - accessible from Hornchurch. A large country park on a former RAF station with good walking paths and wildlife.
District line services at Elm Park run from approximately 05:30 to midnight on weekdays and similar hours on weekends. There is no Night Tube on the District line. The station is very quiet outside weekday rush hours.
