About the Line 14 (Magenta)

An ambitious magenta-colored corridor proposed to connect Vikhroli to the distant township of Badlapur.

History

Line 14 is one of the most ambitious proposed corridors in the Mumbai Metro master plan, spanning 45 km from Vikhroli to Badlapur. Designed to serve the high-growth eastern industrial and residential belt, it will provide a direct link from the city's eastern expressway side to the far-flung satellite towns. The project is being explored through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to leverage private investment for such a massive infrastructure undertaking.
