About Tsukiji

Tsukiji station is adjacent to the world-famous Tsukiji Outer Market - the public portion of what was once the world's largest fish market (the inner wholesale market moved to Toyosu in 2018). The outer market remains open and full of tuna sashimi, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), fresh seafood and kitchen supplies. Hamarikyu Gardens - one of Tokyo's most scenic traditional gardens - is a 10-minute walk.
