About Wimbledon Park

Wimbledon Park station is the penultimate stop on the District line's Wimbledon branch before the terminus. The station serves the residential neighbourhood around Wimbledon Park - a large recreation ground with a lake, tennis facilities and open green space. During the Wimbledon Championships in late June and July, the station sees considerably more use as visitors navigate between Southfields and Wimbledon town centre. For most of the year, it is a quiet Zone 3 residential stop.
