About Financial Centre

Financial Centre Station serves one of Dubai's key commercial districts along the Red Line. The area is dominated by corporate offices, financial institutions and professional services, and the station sees high weekday commuter volumes as a result. The metro is by far the most practical alternative to driving here during peak hours, when Sheikh Zayed Road congestion can be severe.

The Red Line connects Financial Centre to the full range of Dubai's destinations - the airport to the east, the Marina and Jebel Ali to the west, and the Union and BurJuman interchange stations for Green Line access.

Station Overview

Financial Centre Station opened in 2010 on the Dubai Metro's Red Line. It is in Zone 6 of the NOL fare system. The system operates driverless, air-conditioned trains on elevated and underground infrastructure throughout the city.

Lines and Connectivity

The Red Line serves Financial Centre, linking it to Dubai International Airport and the eastern Deira/Garhoud districts to the north-east, and to the Marina, Jebel Ali and Route 2020 extension to the south-west. The Union and BurJuman stations provide interchange to the Green Line.

Station Layout and Facilities

Financial Centre Station is a modern, air-conditioned facility with toilets, ATMs, NOL top-up machines and a staffed service point. Gold Class carriages at the front of each train offer premium seating. A dedicated women and children's carriage in the middle of the train is clearly marked on the platform floor.

Accessibility

Financial Centre Station provides full step-free access with lifts between street level, the concourse and all platforms. Tactile paving, audio announcements and platform screen doors are in place throughout.
