About Max

Max Station serves one of Dubai's mixed residential and commercial areas, where local restaurants, shops and services cater to the daily needs of a large resident and working population. These are the working neighbourhoods of the city - busier and more functional than the landmark districts, with good-value dining and local retail within easy reach of the exits.

The Dubai Metro makes this area easily accessible from anywhere on the Red Line, and the station sees strong commuter volumes during weekday peak hours.

Station Overview

Max Station opened in 2009 on the Dubai Metro's Red Line. It is in Zone 6 of the NOL fare system. The system operates driverless, air-conditioned trains on elevated and underground infrastructure throughout the city.

Lines and Connectivity

The Red Line serves Max, linking it to Dubai International Airport and the eastern Deira/Garhoud districts to the north-east, and to the Marina, Jebel Ali and Route 2020 extension to the south-west. The Union and BurJuman stations provide interchange to the Green Line.

Station Layout and Facilities

Max Station is a modern, air-conditioned facility with toilets, ATMs, NOL top-up machines and a staffed service point. Gold Class carriages at the front of each train offer premium seating. A dedicated women and children's carriage in the middle of the train is clearly marked on the platform floor.

Accessibility

Max Station provides full step-free access with lifts between street level, the concourse and all platforms. Tactile paving, audio announcements and platform screen doors are in place throughout.
